Braising my Beef

of all the seasons of new york, i love spring the most (and fall too) because its the great time to drive around and not worry about getting all too hot.

also, its the most wonderful time readjust into letting go of the other 3 layers of clothing that i have been trudging around new york city… and finally, i say goodbye to everything thermal and thick.

for most people, its the time to show off their toes (my time will come when it starts hitting 70 low.) and then their skin.

no matter how much i love spring, i have the greatest reasons to hate it.

seasonal allergies.

i dont understand why i love staying in my city when the minor health problems just do their own cycle, just like the seasons. oh well.

im just glad that i dont feel all too depressed as i was in the winter.

oh god.

i was complaining about how i owned so MANY purses. at the last count, 26, i think. im beginning to think that this addiction is going a bit too far.

see, i own them in a huge array of colors — and i know that only time will tell when i will be having one purse for each day of the year (im almost at the one for each day of the month mark)….

and i cant stop it. I CANT. show me a girl who will resist purses. SHOW MEEEEE! after all, i am my mother’s daughter (who came here on vacation and went back with about 10 new purses, i think.)

i  called up my mom and i asked her if she wanted one in yellow. the instantaneous answer was "of course! why will i say no?"

and still, i have some that i havent used yet — mainly because it was winter, and its just too much of a bother to keep changing your purse when it also needs to hold your gloves and hat and other winterparaphernalia and it just takes up too much space.

and i would like to get rid of SOME of them, but my heart sinks at the idea. REALLY. and i WANT MORE

this is one addiction gone mad. and to think i havent used a lot of them… but not to worry. summer is here. nyahahaha.
